The heart of the Sportwatch builds the ApP Lite application processor TZ1041MBG. It incorporates an ARM® Cortex®-M4F, 288 KB of SRAM, 8 Mbit embedded NOR Flash Memory, Bluetooth Smart Version 4.1 and various Interfaces, like USB, SPI, I²C and UART.
The SFH7050 from Osram is a BioMon Sensor for measuring the heart rate and blood oxygen content. It is built in Infrared, Red, Green emitter and a detector.
