Murata PKLCS / PKMCS piezoelectric sounders for automotive and industrial/security applications are available in two sizes, 12 x 12mm and 18 x 18mm.
The 12 x 12mm PKLCS has no contacts making it highly reliable, with clear sound and no noise.
The 18 x 18mm PKMCS is the world’s loudest volume for a SMD piezoelectric sounder with 100dB (typ.) [2kHz, 12Vo-p square wave, 10cm]
Taking advantage of extensive acoustic and mechanical design technology and high performance ceramics, Murata has developed PKLCS / PKMCS Piezoelectric Sounders that suit the thin, high-density design of electronic equipment.

  Lower power consumption by higher impedance at operating frequency can preserve longer battery life (0.4 to 0.5mA@3Vo-p)

  There is no electrical noise because of no magnet and/or coil in structure.
