Vishay Extends Range of HV High Voltage Series MLCCs
As is the case with many electronic designs, high voltage applications are moving toward components in
smaller case sizes, while still requiring voltages from 500 V to as high as 8 kV. Vishay’s HV Series of
MLCCs already offers products with ratings up to the 8 kV level in a 3640 case size. Now we’ve
extended their available case sizes down to 1206 with voltage ratings as high as 2 kV. In addition,
As with existing HV Series products, devices in the extended range also offer a robust serial electrode
design, as well as a polymer termination option to mitigate board-flex issues.
