TwisterSIM – STMicroelectronics’ Simulation Tool for VIPower® Devices
TwisterSIM is STMicroelectronic’s interactive selection program and electro-thermal simulation tool for VIPower® devices like smart high side switches, smart low side switches and H-bridges.
TwisterSIM is free of charge and can be downloaded from www.st.com/twistersim. Once installed you have to register to unlock all features.
VIPower® devices are intelligent power devices with diagnostic and protection features. They can replace standard MOSFETs and associated gate drivers.
Typical applications are
- Automotive exterior or interior lighting
- Relay replacement for loads like motors, seat heating, glow plugs
- MOSFET replacement
