New HDMI 2.0 IPAD series for fastest ultra-HD data rates
ST’s new HDMI2C1 series of HDMI™ signal-conditioning and protection ICs feature a low clamping voltage of 10 V and a fast response time of 30 ns that prevents unwanted transients from damaging the latest HDMI chips. Integrated ESD protection with a bandwidth of 10 GHz passes high-speed 4K signals without distortion. They can save 80% of PCB space compared to discrete protection components and have pin assignments optimized for use with economical single- or two-layer boards to accelerate time to market for fast-moving consumer products such as Ultra-HD set-top boxes and Blu-ray players.
