STMicroelectronics – EMI filter for audio interfaces offers up to 30 kV ESD protection
ST’s EMIF02-SPK03F2 is a 2-line EMI filter and ESD protection device, delivering high audio performance for IoT applications. With an ultra-low DC resistance of 0.1 Ω (max), the device sustains high audio currents, provides strong ESD protection and high efficiency EMI filtering reaching -53 dB attenuation (under Zsource of 2 kΩ and Zload of 20 kΩ). It is ideally suited for all loudspeakers down to 8 Ω and for analog microphones. Housed in a Flip Chip package of less than 1.15 mm², it is the world’s most integrated solution available today.
