Predictive, adaptive controller function models combined with an increased volume of data from the multiplication of sensors in powertrain management, stability and suspension control systems require ever greater memory capacity for parameter management. ST’s advanced automotive EEPROM series provide total flexibility to define the required memory size at a late stage in the project due to the seamless range from 1 Kbit to 1 Mbit densities in SO8N, TSSOP and WFDFPN8 packages. The robust technology guarantees reliability with 4 million E/W cycles and operating temperatures of up to 145 °C.
