Minew B8 – Social Distancing Wristband
The B8 from manufactorer Minew is a clever tool to avoid getting infected by CoVid / Corona and other virus with similar characteristics.
B8 Social Distancing Wristband features Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.0 technology, comprises a vibrator, a 3-axis accelerometer sensor, a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and a touch button.
You´ll feel the vibration as soon as you get too close to each other. The Social Distancing Wristband is a predictive distance warner.
The Social Distancing Wristband, a new generation beacon tag based on Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.0 technology, can realize proximity alerts and contact tracking amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The device adopts direct USB charging method and consumes ultra low energy.
When one tag comes within 2m range of another tag, both devices will vibrate and LED indicator will flash. Meanwhile, the tag will collect and store contact information of another tag within 2m range.
The contact information can be viewed via the MWristband APP (Android available currently).
The core functionality is made by the internal Ultra-low power consumption chipset NORDIC® nRF52 series with 64 MHz Cortex-M4 with FPU. To use extended features, you can use the MWristband App from Minew, which is for testing only. The final app version should be developed individually by customers. A SDK is available.

The internal data logging function can store up to 20,000 contact records in a tag. Intruding incident information including ID (Mac Address), time and date storage. The data logging function is off by default and needs to be switched on in the smartphone app.

IP67 Certification and easy cleaning and disinfection allows a permanent usage even in hard environments. A customer specific laser printing is possible at a minimum order quantity of 100pcs. Please contact your Rutronik sales if you are interested in brand labeled wristbands.
