RFIDS™ – Radio Frequency Identification & Sensing
RFIDS™ stands for Radio Frequency Identification and Sensing. RFIDS™ is a proprietary technology for advanced RFID from SensMaster, a Swedish-Malaysian technology innovation company.
RFIDS™ is working in the 2.4 GHz ISM band using GFSK (Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying) with frequency hopping. The technology can be used for distances up to 60 meters with good orientation agnosticism and without losing its high security and robustness.
RFIDS™ is a highly effective anti-collision technology with a very high tag-to-reader-ratio (TtRR). This means that a single RFIDS™ reader is able to handle several thousand tags at the same time. In contrast most standards will break down when the number of tags per reader exceeds 80-150. Furthermore the ultra low power consumption of the RFIDS™ tags allows a far longer battery life than comparable technologies.
The RFIDS™ technology is scalable from simple ID tags, to tags with multiple sensors to actuators and user interfaces.
