TC35661SBG – Bluetooth® Dual Mode Single-Chip Controller for BT Classic (3.0+EDR) and Bluetooth Low Energy (4.0)
The TC35661SBG is a Bluetooth class 2 device with a receiver sensitivity of down to -91dBm. It supports the standard Bluetooth HCI interface and offers integration of stack and selected Bluetooth profiles on-chip. Through its WIFI coexistence interface it supports the BT3.0-HS function.
For smaller applications the TC35661SBG can operate standalone without a host MCU. The single-chip solution is qualified for consumer as well as for automotive applications (AEC-Q100). It enables an easy way to integrate Bluetooth for various industrial, medical and automotive applications. The TC35661SBG is Bluetooth Qualification Body (BQB) qualified.
The chip is orderable in a 5×5 mm BGA as well as in a 7×7 mm BGA package and it’s also available as Bluetooth Low Energy single solution (TC35667).
Hint: The Bluetooth dual mode module PAN1026 from supplier Panasonic is based on Toshiba’s TC35661. Designers who want to start with a module design but keep also the possibility open to switch later to a chip solution can profit now from the advantage that Rutronik can offer both solutions out of one hand!
