STMicroelectronics – TSU101 series – Nanopower Op-Amps
Save a life. A battery’s life – with the TSU101 series of Nanopower Op-Amps
ST’s TSU101 series of Nanopower operational amplifiers provides ultra-low power consumption over the full operating temperature range.
Its sub-µA current consumption (600 nA typ.) per channel enables:
- 42 years lifetime supplied by a CR2032 button cell lithium battery
- 28 years lifetime supplied by two alkaline LR44 1.5 volt button cell batteries
Not only does the TSU101 series allow the use of smaller batteries for equivalent life time, but smaller PCBs as well thanks to packages such as QFN and DFN.
Drawing less current per op amp than the typical self-discharge current of a lithium-ion battery, the TSU10 series enables longer operation from small coin-cell batteries and energy harvesting.

- AN4348: Electrochemical sensors used to monitor ambient air quality in order to detect the presence of toxic gases in industrial as well as household Environments.
- AN4368: Pyroelectric passive infrared (PIR) sensors able to detect movement or human presence for use in security systems, automatic doors, or automatic light control applications.
ST’s nanopower op amp portfolio gives you the devices you need to build any application wherever power budget is a concern. Check out our low power op amp page and flyer for more Information.
