Samsung developed and mass-produced a multilayer caeramic capacitor that can be utilized in the advanced driver system (ADAS)
and autonomous driving (AD) of a car with a capacitance of 22µF at 1206 inch (3,2×1,6mm) size in X7S (-55 to +125°C) rated 16V.
Samples are also available.
Existing 1210 inch (3,2×2,5mm) product can be miniaturizedwith this product and also provide the advantage of ensuring
5mm bending strength by optimizing the softtermination characteristics.
The number of MLCCs installed in a vehicle is rapidly increasing due to the electrification and high functionality of automobiles.
For this reason miniaturization, stability, and capacitance expansion of MLCC are continuously required.
With in-house ceramic and alectrode material aromization and ultra-precision lamination method SEM developed this
ultra-high capacitance 22µF product in size 1206 inch (3,2×1,6mm) rating 16V TCC X7S.
(TCC: capacitance change rate in -55 to +125°C temperature range (X7R: +-15%; X7S: +-22%; X7T: +22-33%))
