ROHM – Sensor Evaluation Kit: SENSEKIT2-EVK-101
ROHM Semiconductor’s new Sensor Evaluation Kit SENSEKIT2-EVK-101 tests the functional operation between various sensor types. It consists of a Base board which is the controller board combined with Breakout boards which includes different kind of sensor ICs from ROHM Semiconductor (Lapis / Kionix).
The Evaluation Boards included in the Kit:
The controller board is a Lapis MCU – ML610Q112 is a high performance 8-bit CMOS microcontroller.
The Bu52011HFV is a magnetic switch which can operate both S- and N-Pole.
Ambient Light Sensor
The Sensor Evalutation Kit includes two ambient light sensors. The BH1620FVC is an analog current output ambient light sensor. The BH1721FVC is a digital ambient light sensor IC for I2C bus interface.
The UV sensor is the ML8511. It detects ultra violet rays indoors or outdoors
The MEMS Sensor is a KMX61. This is a 6-axis E-Compass device with auto-calibration software.
The temperature sensor is the BDE0600G. It is a low quiescent current, high accuracy thermostat IC.
