PAN1760A – Bluetooth Low Energy v4.2
The PAN1760A is Panasonic’s Bluetooth v4.2 module with currently the lowest power consumption in the industry. Based on Toshiba IC TC35678, the peak power consumption in Tx- and Rx-mode is only 3.3mA. Therefore the PAN1760A is perfectly suited for medical, IoT and industries as it provides a long battery lifetime. Additionally this SMD module is very compact – it has a size of only 15.6 x 8.7 x 1.9mm. It has an embedded 265kB flash and 83kB RAM for user applications in standalone operation, which makes an external processor unnecessary, safes cost and space. The PAN1760A can also operate in AT-command or in Host mode.
It is easy to migrate from the old versions of PAN1760, PAN1761 and PAN1026 as these modules have the same footprint. Only minor code changes are necessary when migrating from PAN1026 to the PAN1760A.
