OSRAM Opto Semiconductors DURIS® S 5
The DURIS® S 5 family contains various mid power compact LEDs in the market. It provides flexibility in forward voltage and luminous flux. With higher lifetime and higher solder point temperatures compared to PPA packages, the DURIS® S 5 also allows various luminous flux packages with only one LED type, saving costs on secondary parts within the luminaire. The DURIS® S product family offers customers more possibilities in terms of performance, areas of application and technology than ever before. The new LEDs are ideal particularly for applications where the colors have to appear as natural as possible. The light from DURIS® S 5 LEDs make colors of wooden dining tables and flooring for example look rich and natural. Color rendering also plays an important role in shop lighting, whether for clothing or food.
