New SMT-Encoder from Knitter-Switch saves space
Knitter-Switch, one of Europe’s leading switch manufacturers, introduces a new encoder which saves space because of his very small foot print and height. It is designed for applications which need a high quality encoder where space is extremely restricted, e.g. measurement instrumentation or household applications.
The new MERS 5-12 is requiring a space of 6 x 9mm only on the PCB and with a casing height under 3mm it is extremely flat.
The high quality encoder has to be operated from the top, uses 12 pulses/detents per rotation and a mechanical life of 100,000 turns.
The MERS 5-12 is, as well as the complete wide range of standard DIL, tact, rotary encoder, toggle and push-button switches, available directly from Knitter-Switch and a number of distributors throughout Europe. Samples are available on request. For more information visit www.knitter-switch.com
