An automotive modules manufacturer was looking for a low cost, high quality, extra long life cycle and reliable subminiature snap-acting switch which would detect the seat belt buckling. They selected the ZMA series which provides a good platform to replace conventional magnetic or hall-effect sensing detection, without increasing the buckle size.
C&K’s ZMA series offers a wide range of markings, actuators and terminals. Various operating forces are available and can be installed with different actuators.
The ZMA series is suitable for price sensitive applications like consumer products, and high volume instrument equipment and household E-meters.
