MRF24XA NEW – Low-Power, 2.4 GHz ISM-Band IEEE 802.15. RF Transceiver with Extended Proprietary Features
MRF24XA is an IEEE 802.15.4™ standard compliant 2.4 GHz RF transceiver with extended feature set for longer battery life, higher throughput and increased operating range. With a high data rate of up to 2 Mbps the radio ON-time can be minimized and therefore the battery life of the device extended.
Furthermore the MRF24XA integrates the PHY and MAC functionality in a single chip solution. The transceiver is compatible with Microchip’s ZigBee®, MiWi™ and MiWi P2P software stacks. Each software stack is available as a free download, including source code, from the Microchip web site
