400pV – Problem / Solution
During faults in a photovoltaic power (PV) system, the source of reverse current is typically from the back-feed current in the other strings of the affected solar array. The 400PV is the first fuse on the market provide robust circuit protection of the PV cell and PC board traces from teverse fault current. The 400PV complies with UL 248-19 standard for PV applications. The standard requires fuse opening characteristics at 135% times the fuse string current of not greater than one hour.
