MPE-Garry – 719 Series – USB 3.1 Type C Connector
With its new series 719, MPE-Garry presents the latest USB technology for printed circuit boards.
The new USB 3.1 type C connector has been designed for data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps in each direction according to the latest Super Speed Plus standard. Within this standard, the MPE-Garry product is featuring a minimum of 10.000 mating cycles as well as the USB power delivery standard with a charging current of up to 5 A with configurable voltages up to 20V. These new connectors are equipped with 24 contacts arranged symmetrically which allows plugging in a USB cable in any direction without top or bottom side definition. MPE-Garry is offering 2 SMD variations of this new part; one mounted on top of the printed circuit board and the second one is mounted in line with the printed circuit board.
