LED Driver
LEDs represent the most environmetally friendly way of indoor and outdoor lighting, as they consume less energy and last longer than conventional light sources like fluorescent or incandescent bulbs and they do not contain hazardous materials. For proper operation Leds need to be supplied with a constant current, which is the main task of an LED driver in order to achieve the maximum lifetime. In many applications the typical LED current range today is from 350mA up to 1A, certainly some of these will be driven at 3 A. Rutronik is in a position to offer different driver topologies like linear-, buck- , boost- and buck boost converters for DC-DC lighting applications. Furthermore, AC-DC power supply units beginning from 3 Watt up to 150 Watt complete the Rutronik´s lighting product range.
