VISHAY – New WSK1206 Power Metal Strip® Resistor Features Kelvin 4-Terminal Connection for Increased Measurement Accuracy and Reduced TCR
Vishay Intertechnology announces a new surface-mount Power Metal Strip current sense resistor featuring a Kelvin 4-terminal connection that reduces TCR and enables tight tolerances down to 0.1 % for increased measurement accuracy. The Vishay Dale WSK1206 combines a tight tolerance of 0.1% and low TCR down to 35 ppm with extremely low resistance values down to 0.01 Ω in the compact 1206 case size.
- Reduces system errors while eliminating the need for system calibration
- Advanced construction incorporates a solid metal nickel-chrome or manganese-copper resistive element with low TCR (< 20 ppm/ºC)
- A proprietary processing technique produces extremely low resistance values
