Vishay – New TSDP34138/56 and TSDP34338/56 Infrared Receivers
Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) broadens its optoelectronics portfolio with the release of two new miniaturized infrared (IR) receivers designed specifically for low-speed data transmission. The TSDP34138/56 and TSDP34338/56 are optimized for low-complexity, low-cost signaling in metering, sensor, automation, and gaming applications.
Features:
- Consist of a photodiode and preamplifier assembled on a lead frame
- Data transmission up to 7.8 kbps
- Range up to 35 meters with an emitter strength of 150 mW/sr
- Compact 6.0 mm by 6.9 mm by 5.6 mm epoxy package acts as IR band pass filter Optimized for use with inexpensive 940 nm IR LEDs
- Low 0.35 mA supply current at 3.3 V
- Provide shielding against EMI and immunity against ambient light
- Insensitive to supply voltage ripple and noise from CFL lamps
- RoHS-compliant, halogen-free, and Vishay Green
