PAN1026A – Bluetooth Basic Data Rate + Low Energy v4.2 embedded module
Rutronik proudly presents the new product introduction of the PAN1026A Module from Panasonic – Bluetooth Basic Data Rate + Low Energy v4.2 embedded module.
The PAN1026A module is a highly integrated Dual Mode Bluetooth controller with a small form factor. It is based on the single chip TC35661 Bluetooth semiconductor from Toshiba with an embedded Bluetooth SIG certified stack. It delivers high-speed operation at ultra-low power consumption and has an integrated GATT, which makes more complex BLE profiles possible. Also an embedded SPP is integrated. The module significantly reduces external component count and power consumption in applications requiring support of Bluetooth 4.2 standards. It is possible to store Link Keys through an integrated EEPROM which has a Panasonic MAC address. Both Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy are provided with a rapid connection and disconnection. For secure connections via Bluetooth Low Energy, the PAN1026A has some extra features compared to the PAN1026. The transmission power can be controlled also. The module is manufactured in a small package with a shielded case. FCC, IC, and CE approval are available.
