Low Power Fanless COM Express Mini Module from Advantech
Advantech’s new low power, fanless COM Express Mini Module SOM-7568 is equipped with the latest Intel® Pentium® N3700, Celeron® N3150 and Celeron® N3000 single-chip processors, which are manufactured on new Intel14-nm process technology. The mini module is ideal for lower power handheld applications. It is available at distributor Rutronik as of now.
SOM-7568 supports up to 4GV dual channel DDR3L 1600 MT/s non-ECC onboard memory with higher memory bandwidth for better performance. In addition, it supports 4GB to 32GB eMMC onboard storage. The mini module features low power Intel® gen. 8 graphics integrated in the SoC, with up to 16 Execution Units, and has twice the graphics performance compared with the previous platform as well as a significant enhancement with its 4K2K display resolution. Based on this new Intel® platform, SOM-7568 is the first product that supports H.265 HW decoder and includes the latest 3D acceleration DX 11.1, OpenGL 4.2 function. Additionally, it provides multiple display interfaces, including one channel LVDS or eDP and HDMI/DisplayPorts.
Featuring business-card sized dimensions (84x55mm), SOM-7568 offers higher performance with TDP, down to 4W/6W. The mini module is designed to support wide-range voltage input from 4.75 to 20V, which provides flexible options to fulfill various application requirements. It comes with a rich arry of I/O interfaces including 3PCIe x1 for better data transmission, and offers one Intel® i210AT LAN controller, 3 SATA Gen3, 8 USB 2.0, 2 USB 3.0, 2 COM ports, SMBus, I2C, and HD audio interface functions. SOM-7568 is particularly suited for lower power applications such as in-vehicle, medical, military, and transportation fields.
