The SMF4L Series TVS Diode from Littelfuse is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is provided in a small-footprint, flat lead, low-profile plastic SOD-123FL package. With a board footprint of just 3.10mm x 2.00mm x 0.98mm, the SMF4L Series TVS Diode is in a 50 percent smaller package than regular SMA device. Its maximum height profile of just 0.98mm and 400W@10/1000μs peak pulse power dissipation capability allows the SMF4L Series to fit neatly into transient voltage protection applications where compact design is critical.
Applications include protection of portable devices/hard drives, notebooks, VCC busses, POS terminal, SSDs, power supplies, monitors and other consumer applications
