Expanded LV UltraMOV™ Varistor Series Boosts Surge Current Rating to 10kA
New varistors offer the most robust surge rating in the smallest footprint
The LV UltraMOV™ Varistor Series has been expanded to provide solutions for applications with higher DC voltage and surge requirements. The expanded line adds higher continuous voltage ratings from 65VDC to 125VDC, and an enhanced surge current rating of up to 10kA (8/20μs pulse). It combines these higher ratings with the smallest footprint on the market by reducing their size by more than 40 percent over competing solutions. The series is available in disc diameters of 5mm, 7mm, 10mm, 14mm and 20mm. Applications include telecom power systems, surge protection devices, wireless base stations, automation controls, audio and video devices, security systems and fire alarm systems.
