Fujitsu Wireless Modules update to nRF51822 Rev.3

Fujitsu MBH7BLZ01, MBH7BLZ02, MBH7BLZ07 Families updated

Fujitsu Components Europe B.V. has updated their portfolio of Bluetooth Smart modules. These modules are still based on Nordic Semiconductor nRF51822, but now on Revision 3 and no longer on Revision 2 for new designs:

The well established MBH7BLZ01 and MBH7BLZ02 Family (with and without embedded antenna) can now be ordered at Rutronik containing the 3rd Chiprevision of Nordic Semiconductor nRF51822 and the pre-installed SoftDevice S110 Version 8.0.0.

MBH7BLZ01-109029 and MBH7BLZ02-109031 are the full partnumber codes. Please get in touch with the wireless specialists of Rutronik to find out if the SoftDevice could be updated to a newer version. They are in direct contact to the SoftDevice engineers at Nordic Semiconductor.

Please note that it´s also possible to offer a variant with 32kB RAM on request. With this option it´s possible to load the S120 and S130 SoftDevices (allowes different Bluetooth Smart roles “Master/Observer/Broadcaster/Peripheral” depending on the needs of your application)

The ultra-small MBH7BLZ07 Family is now also available with pre-loaded S110 Version 8.0.0. The partnumber is MBH7BLZ07-109033.

Please note that all these modules could also be used as full programmable ARM Cortex M0 modules with optional proprietary 2,4GHz wireless protocols. Also here Rutronik can help to discuss the possibilities, limitations and the best way how to go on.
