Automotive grade, high power, low ohmic shunt resistor – PU
The News
Yageo has released its new metal current sensor; the PU series shunt resistor for automotive and power system applications. Adopting welding metal plate method, the PU series is AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive requirements, as well as MIL-STD-202 to ensure its reliability under harsh environment.
The PU series shunt resistor features low resistance down to 0.2mΩ, a tolerance of ±1%, and TCR as low as ±75 ppm/℃, with a high power rating of up to 10W.
While its main application would be for the high quality industry demand, the PU series shunt resistor is AEC-Q200 qualified for automotive applications, and has also passed a series of MIL-STD-202 to withstand conditions from a wide temperature range (from -65℃ to 275℃), above 1,000 times temperature cycling (-55℃/ +125℃),1,000 hours high humidity (85℃/85% RH) and still posses long endurance. These high reliability assurances make the PU series a perfect solution for high stability requirement in automotive, power system, telecommunication and alternative energy.
