ASUS is entering the next generation of high-speed computing with the Z690 series motherboards featuring next-level connectivity, robust power delivery and cooling, and AI optimization. With the new LGA1700 socket specifically for 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors on board, ASUS Z690 motherboards are able to get the maximum performance out of the latest Intel Core CPUs.
Highlight features of the ASUS Z690 series include support for PCIe 5.0 and DDR5, making the boards ready for the next generation of high-performance components like graphics and memory. All ASUS Z690 motherboards are PCIe 5.0 ready with up to 2 x16 slots. Most boards of the Z690 series provide up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory in four DIMM slots, whereas some boards still support the transition generation of DDR4 memory modules, indicated with the suffix D4 in the model name.
ASUS’ latest motherboard platform is aimed at gamers, creators and users of all kinds and is available in a variety of aesthetic designs. Five different series are offered, from allrounder boards (PRIME series) to Gaming Boards (ROG Maximus / ROG Strix / TUF Gaming series) and creator boards (ProArt).
