ANT is a proven protocol and silicon solution for ultra-low power (ULP) practical wireless networking
applications. ANT+ facilitates interoperability between ANT+ Alliance member devices and the collection, automatic transfer and tracking of sensor data. Applicable in sport, wellness management and home health monitoring, ANT+ (built on the base ANT protocol) defines device profiles that specify data formats, channel parameters and network keys.
D52 module series was launched in August 2016 and is the newest solution to create ANT based devices. These modules from Dynastream are based on Nordic Semicodncutor nRF52 series.

The nRF51422 is built around a 32-bit ARM® Cortex™ M0 CPU with 256kB/128kB flash + 32kB/16kB RAM. The embedded 2.4 GHz transceiver supports both Bluetooth Smart as well as the Nordic Gazell protocol stack which is on air compatible with the nRF24L series products from Nordic Semiconductor.
