No Corona – No Problem with Panasonic X2 Capacitors
The moisture resistance within the ECQUA Series is related to the Aluminium metallization, the resin type & thickness as well as the manufacturing process. Additionally it’s suitable for the usage in series to the main applications, with no influence of corona discharge.
The ECQUA series is produced with Polypropylene film and has a patterned metallization technology (100% Panasonic black box technology). The special fuse function of the patterned metallization leads to a very stable capacitance level over the capacitor lifetime and thus guarantees a high reliability of your application. ECQUA is accredited in accordance with UL/CSA and European safety regulation class X2.
