Silex SX-PCEAX – Industry’s first tri-band Wi-Fi 6E 2×2 PCIe module
The Silex SX-PCEAX, based on Qualcomm’s QCA2066, is one of the first Wi-Fi 6E modules. To increase the overall capacity and performance, the SX-PCEAX has been equipped with the 6 GHz band (WiFi 6E) in addition to the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. In addition to the tri-band IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax WLAN, the Bluetooth standard 5.2 BR/EDR/LE is also supported.
The SX-PCEAX module is certified for Europe, North America, Japan and Canada. Silex also offers additional certification services for previously uncertified regions. The module is available in several sizes and form factors to meet a wide range of requirements. While the form factor of the PCI Express half mini card is suitable for migrating 802.11ax into your legacy PCIe solution, the SMD option of the M.2 LGA Type 1418 offers the smallest footprint, another option is to use the M.2 plug-in card in M.2 2230 format
The SX-PCEAX is ideal for use in medical applications, especially in the field of imaging diagnostics, storage/logistics applications such as self-propelled industrial trucks or intelligent production lines, as well as for use in industrial environments such as industrial PCs and in industrial automation.
