More options: Automotive LIN-Transceivers
When there is a shortage of electronic components in the market it is always good to have a second option or a second source for critical components available. In case of LIN-transceivers we see inquiries for alternatives to TJA1021 from NxP. Especially the small HVSON8 package with 3 mm x 3 mm seems to be in high demand.

Please be aware that although similar, there may be deviations from the original part. For example, the BD41030 does not feature “Wake-up source recognition (local or remote)”. However, not every application uses this feature.
Therefore it is mandatory to compare datasheets and perform sample tests before approval!
