Vishay HVCC Series Delivers High Performance, Reliability, and Industry-High Capacitance of 2 nF

Several passive component portfolios are currently under review by manufacturers, a process that often leads to discontinuations. As a result, customers must review their designs and reconsider their bill of materials, with an eye not only on state of the art technology, but also reliability in terms of quality and availability.

Vishay’s Roederstein HVCC series capacitors offer qualified and high performance drop-in replacements for almost all Murata part numbers starting with DHR*, for which the company has sent out an official discontinuation notice. Please refer to Vishay’s HVCC series datasheets to verify requirements.

The components offer a capacitance range from 100 pF to 2000 pF – with standard tolerances of ± 20 % – voltages from 10 kVDC to 15 kVDC, and operate over a temperature range of -30 °C to +105 °C.

With the HVCC series, Vishay guarantees load life performance of 1000 h at 1.25 x Urated at 105 ºC, along with a low dissipation factor of < 1.5 %.
