Rubycon HXG series – Miniaturized High Ripple Current Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor
Rubycon HXG series capacitors offer a higher ripple current at smaller case size compared to MXG or HXC series. This gives the customer advantages in volumetric efficiency and an overall improved ripple current with a competitive price level.
The HXG series achieves a ripple current value up to 4850mA@105°C/100kHz with an lifetime of 3000h@105°C and is the perfect solution for every application that requires high ripple current values at limited space. Rubycon’s HXG series is a miniaturized Snap-in electrolytic capacitor which can withstand higher ripple current values at smaller case sizes compared to MXG or HXC series.
Based on voltage, with an ambient temperature of 105°C, this part can range up to double the ripple current value compared to MXG series. The HXG series is a 3000h lifetime capacitor that is perfect for high power applications, or implementations where limited space is available. The Snap-in HXG series is also offered as 3pin version starting with diameter 22mm!
