DIODES INC – D-FLAT 400W TVS Series Offers Ultra-Thin Profile with High- Power Dissipation
Diodes Incorporated announces the introduction of a new 400W TVS series which is housed in the new ultra-thin, surface-mount D-FLAT package.
This high-performance, flat-lead package is designed with low thermal resistance to provide high-power dissipation. In addition, the creepage distance is maximized to enhance isolation between terminals against tracking. Furthermore, with a height of only 1.1mm maximum, the D-FLAT package is also 54% thinner than the conventional SMA package to enable space-constrained designs.
The P4SMAJxxADF series is comprised of 29 high-power unidirectional TVS devices, available with a large selection of reverse standoff voltages from 5V to 85V. These devices have excellent ESD immunity, exceeding ±30kV IEC- 61000-4-2 ESD level-4 for air and contact discharge. Additionally, with low leakage current at 1µA for most of the range, energy efficiency is improved.
These devices are ideally suited for general ESD protection in industrial applications and consumer and portable electronics.
