STMicroelectronics – Discover ST’s 35 W fly-back converter ideal for LED driver applications
The STEVAL-ILL069V1 evaluation board provides a complete solution for a 48 V / 35 W isolated fly-back converter for wide input main voltages, ideally suited for LED driver applications. Built around the HVLED001 high performance peak current mode controller, it benefits from its unique features to provide high power factor and low total harmonic distortion (THD) together with high full load efficiency yet providing a no-load consumption of less than 400 mW. The HVLED001’s extensive protection scheme ensures protection against input overvoltage, output short circuit and overload conditions and includes an auto-restart feature.
