Rutronik introduces round full color OLED from DLC

Ispringen, June the 22^th, 2016 – the round active matrix OLED module from DLC is the enrichment for the established application sections and opens new markets as well. It is also available with touch screen via distributor Rutronik.

This module helps DLC to extend their portfolio with an active full color OLED in a circular form with a diameter of 40 mm. In comparison to their round passive OLED, this one has a much higher resolution of 400 x 400 pixels. Regarding its modern form and the full color spectrum, it could be broadly applied in the consumer goods, such as fitness gadgets, TV remote or bicycle accessories. Its advantages would become important for the industrial segment as well. Through better visibility, compatibility with touch pad and advanced temperature ranges [-20°C to 60°C operating and -30°C to 70°C environment] this modules could be installed at the operating areas in machines within the energy- or medical sectors. This module also fulfills the RoHS and REACH.
