PAN1783 Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy (LE) module
The Panasonic PAN1783 is a Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3 module, which is based on the nRF5340 from Nordic Semiconductor, supporting high-throughput of 2 Mbps, advertising extensions and long range. It is available with an on-board chip antenna and with a RF-bottom pad. The PAN1783 has two Cortex®-M33 processors integrated: One which works as an application processor (with 128 MHz or 64 MHz operation, 512 kB RAM, build-in 1 MB flash memory) and the other one as a network processor (with 64 MHz operation, 64 kB RAM, 256 kB flash). It has an ultra-low current consumption, which is perfect for battery powered devices. Additionally, the PAN1783 supports angle of arrival (AoA) and angle of departure (AoD) direction finding as well as Type 2 Near Field Communication (NFC-A) for use in simplified pairing and payment solutions.
