Protecting integrity, authenticity and confidentiality of Information
OPTIGA™ TPM (Trusted Platform Module) offers a broad portfolio of standardized security controllers to protect the integrity and authenticity of embedded devices and systems. With a secured key store and support for a variety of encryption algorithms, OPTIGA™ TPM security chips provide robust protection for critical data and processes through their rich functionality.
The OPTIGA™ TPM SLB 9645 is a fully TCG standard compliant TPM 1.2. It is featuring an I2C interface to facilitate host communication (up to 400 kbps), support for wide temperature range -40°C (-20°C) to +85°C and a low-power and standby mode. A Linux device driver is integrated in standard kernel from v3.10 on.
For this TPM Version, Infineon offers an Iridium board with 26-pin Rasperry Pi 1 header (compatible with Paspberry Pi 2 & 3 40-pin Header) and an 28-pin BeagleBoard-xM header. An application note, which is available under the following link, explains the Installation and configuration of a Raspberry Pi 2 as an exemplary embedded platform to work with the Infineon OPTIGA™ TPM SLB 9645.
