Raystar introduced their newest UART Interface LCD Modules: RC1602BR, RC1602LR, RC2002AR and RC2004AR.

[RC1602BR] [RC1602LR] 16×2 Character UART LCD Module

Introducing the RC1602LR and RC1602BR series Character LCD modules, featuring the built-in ST7066 IC default UART interface, with the option for SPI/I2C interface via jumper configuration. A noteworthy improvement in these series is the introduction of a new instruction set, eliminating the necessity to understand the ST7066 LCD Controller commands. The display setup is simplified with the built-in MCU and instruction set, enabling users to concentrate solely on application layer programming. Furthermore, users can effortlessly fine-tune backlight brightness and LCD contrast using commands provided in the instruction set.

With a logic supply voltage range of 4.5 V to 5.5 V (typical value at 5 V), these modules operate within a temperature range from -20 to +70 °C. Additionally, their storage temperature spans from -30 to +80 °C.
