Low Current Magnetic Transducers from PUI Audio

New low power consumption transducers work at standard voltages, with lower current consumption and thus yielding a highly efficient product. Different coil resistance, optimized design and good manufacturing practices made this possible.

Customers will no longer be constrained by the traditional high current limitations of

electromagnetic technology in their end application. These new transducers will be

available in the range of 5mm to 9mm in surface mount form, with top and side firing

positions. PUI Audio has pushed the boundaries to have equivalent sound pressure

compared to similar products while maintaining the lowest profile possible and a

reduction in current— in some cases, over 50%.
