High Current Inductor With E-Field Shield
Lower Costs and Save Space by Eliminating the Need for Board-Level Faraday Shielding
New second-generation Automotive Grade low profile, high current inductor series IHLE® from VISHAY.
In the 4040 case size this inductor series features an integrated E-field shield to lower costs and save board space.
The maximum E-Field reduction is realized when the IHLE shield is connected to ground and is also polarity marked for more consistent EMI performance.
FEATURES
- High temperature up to 155 °C
- Improved shield design over standard IHLE
- Higher operating voltage (75 V) and isolation voltage (100 V) ratings than previous generation
APPLICATIONS
- Automotive domain control units (DCU) and transmission / engine control
- DC/DC converters for infotainment, navigation systems, braking systems
- Noise suppression for motors
