Infineon DPS310’s ultra-high precision and excellent accuracy enable it to detect body motions (sitting, standing-up, walking, running), transient states and also single steps or gestures. The DPS310 is both a pressure and also a temperature sensor.

- Most accurate solution with +/-0.005hPa precision (resolution) that equals to +/-5cm. DPS310 has very low noise and can even detect individual steps. DPS310 has excellent stability over temperature due to the linear temperature behavior of the capacitive sensing element.
- Additional temperature sensor in the device. DPS310 works also as a temperature sensor
- Less energy consumption: the integrated FIFO can store up to 32 pressure / temperature measurements. The sensor hub in the host device can be powered down between the readings
- Optimized energy usage: DPS310 is configurable for different use cases. The current consumption in low power mode: pressure measurement 1.7μA and temperature measurement 1.5μA

SES2G – SES2G Sensor Software Analyzer
- SES2G Sensor Software Analyzer along with Infineon Wireless Sensor Hub 2.0 and sensor shuttle board provide customers a complete evaluation environment of Infineon DPS310 barometric pressure sensor. The SES2G Software Analyzer can be downloaded to a PC and it enables simultaneous measurement of up to 12 sensors. The operating modes and settings of individual sensors can be changed separately, which helps the user to optimize the sensor settings for different use cases. - Infineon offers several software drivers for DPS310. These drivers include a Generic driver, Linux driver and a Qualcomm driver that has been approved for several Qualcomm platforms.
