C&K KSA Series

With the C&K KSA family of tactile switches customers can get switches with different actuation forces (ranging from 1.3 N thru 5 N), different actuation travel (ranging from 0.25 mm thru .75 mm), different cycle lifes (ranging from 100k cycles thru 1M cycles), and/or different actuation angles (ranging from 0 thru +/- 30 deg.) all with the same switch footprint. That means customers can spin one board for all of his/her models, swapping out just the switch to make all the versions they offer! This switch is the preferred thru-hole terminal solution for those applications that demand versatility. The KSA family includes the KSA, KSL, KSFI, and KSJ series of tactile switches. Through the use of new plastic materials combined with the C&K sealing capability, the KSA series is ideal for detect and other demanding environmental applications too. The sealed KSA tact switches can be configured for harsh environment applications and can be adapted for different PC board thicknesses as well.
