Glass Encapsulated Automotive TransGuard®
Basic Overview
The Glass Encapsulated Automotive TransGuard® Series are multilayer varistors offering bi-directional
overvoltage protection as well as EMI/RFI attenuation in a single SMT package. The Glass Encapsulated Automotive Series varistors extend the Automotive TransGuard® range into high energy applications. In addition the glass encapsulation provides enhanced resistance against harsh environment or process, such as acidic environment, salts or chlorite flux.
Positioning
Designed for various high energy/high current applications and also harsh environment applications where high energy component or glass encapsulation is needed.
