A key feature of the new server motherboards is Kontron OpenBMC, an open source-based management platform for remote server administration. It enables administrators to comprehensively control and monitor servers remotely, including power management, reboots, hardware resets and detailed sensor monitoring, such as temperatures, fan speeds and voltages.
