HIGH POWER CATALOGUE FLYBACK TRANSFORMER IN EFD15+ PACKAGE
Pulse has expanded its range of high-power catalogue flyback transformer in the EFD15+ package with the introduction of the PAT6261 series. Using Pulse’s winding automation technology, the series is built with a very small form-factor of 16.5 mm x 22.3 mm x 10.5mm and uses the highly popular EFD core shape construction, known for their adaptability in the SMPS segment.
The PAT6261 is designed as a surface mount component and provides a maximum isolation capability of 1500Vdc between the windings. A high permeability ferrite material is utilized to minimize the number of turns and enable low DC resistance. The parts offer a substantially higher power rating (up to 144W) compared to similarly sized power transformers in the market.
The bobbin design and wire selection allow for winding automation, making this product well suited for high-performance and high reliability applications such as data communications, industrial, and automotive markets that also require a price competitive solution.
