Schottky Diode Signal

The Schottky diode is a semiconductor diode with a low forward voltage drop and a very fast switching action and is designed for high speed switching applications, circuit protection and voltage clamping.

Extremely low forward voltage reduces conduction loss. A Schottky diode is a type of semiconductor architecture that uses a junction of metal and n-type silicon.

Typical parts are: SS16, BAS40, BAT54
